Women’s Tennis continues fall schedule

Provo, UT — The Weber State Wildcats women's tennis team continued its fall season with the ITA Mountain Regionals on the campus of BYU in Provo, Utah.
On Tuesday, Alicia Celorio picked up a victory for the Wildcats in a hard-fought 3-set win, taking down her opponent from Colorado State 4-6, 6-2, 7-5, before falling in the second round to a member of the University of Nevada team.
The Wildcats continued a strong showing into Wednesday, picking up two singles wins courtesy of Maggie Song and Naomi Johnson. Jessica Hill and Johnson also secured an 8-4 doubles win over the University of Denver duo.
To close the tournament on Thursday, the Wildcats picked up 2 more singles wins from Jessica Hill, 6-3, 7-5, and Aleks Bozinovska, 6-2, 6-0.
The Wildcats will close their fall season next weekend when they compete in the Denver Cup on the campus of the University of Denver. The Wildcats will compete there with teams from Denver, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming.
