Women’s Tennis closes fall schedule

Provo, UT — The Weber State Wildcats women's tennis team closed its fall season with the ITA Mountain Regionals on the campus of BYU in Provo, Utah.
On Tuesday, Alicia Celorio picked up a victory for the Wildcats in a hard-fought 3-set win, taking down her opponent from Colorado State 4-6, 6-2, 7-5, before falling in the second round to a member of the University of Nevada team.
The Wildcats continued a strong showing into Wednesday, picking up two singles wins courtesy of Maggie Song and Naomi Johnson. Jessica Hill and Johnson also secured an 8-4 doubles win over the University of Denver duo.
To close the tournament on Thursday, the Wildcats picked up 2 more singles wins from Jessica Hill, 6-3, 7-5, and Aleks Bozinovska, 6-2, 6-0.
This was the final tournament of the fall season for the 'Cats, who will not regroup and begin their preparation for the spring season.
