Wildcats drop match in Missoula

Missoula, MT — The Weber State Wildcats women's tennis team fell on the road in Missoula to the Montana Grizzlies 5-2.
In doubles, the 'Cats were swept on all three courts. The 'Cats fell 6-4 on Court #1 and 6-1 on Court #3. Nataly Valdivia Rojas and Naomi Johnson dropped their match in a tiebreaker in the #2 position.
In singles, Maggie Song defeated her opponent on Court #3 in straight sets to get the Wildcats on the board. The 6-3, 6-3 result tied the match at one-all.
Savannah Johnson closed out the match with a two-set victory over her opponent to get the 'Cats to two team points on the day. The final result was a 7-6 (7-4), 7-5 victory.
The 'Cats will head across the Great Divide as they will take on the Bobcats of Montana State in Bozeman on Sunday, April 19th.
The Bobcats enter Sunday with a 7-10 mark on the season. The season finale will begin at 9:30 a.m.
