Eagles top ‘Cats on Senior Day

Ogden, UT — The Weber State Wildcats women's tennis team fell at home to the Eastern Washington Eagles, 5-2.
In doubles, the 'Cats were swept on all three courts. Falling 6-4 on Courts #1 and #3, and 7-5 in the #2 position.
In singles, Naomi Johnson defeated her opponent on Court #6 in straight sets to get the Wildcats on the board. The 6-4, 6-2 results tied the match at one-all.
Jessica Hill closed out the match with a three-set victory on her Senior Day to get the 'Cats to two team points on the day. The final result was a 6-2, 6-7 (8-10), 10-8 victory.
The 'Cats will head north to Montana to take on both the Grizzlies and the Bobcats. First up will be Montana on Saturday, April 19th at 9:30 a.m. The Griz come into the match with a 2-15 mark on the season.
