Wildcat men's basketball named Big Sky Team Academic Champions

Weber State had the highest team GPA of any men's basketball team in the Big Sky for the 2023-24 academic year.
The Weber State men's basketball team has been recognized for its success in the classroom.
The Wildcat team has been named the Big Sky Team Academic Champions after posting the best GPA of all the conference men's basketball teams for the 2023-24 academic calendar year.
The Team Academic Champion is a conference award highlighting the top team academically in each sport the league sponsors.
The Wildcat team boasted a combined GPA of 3.45 for the 2023-24 academic year. WSU also had 10 Wildcats earn Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors, the most of any men's basketball team in the conference.
Under head coach Eric Duft, the Wildcats won 20 games last season. Dillon Jones was named the Big Sky MVP and earned All-District honors before being drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft.
Jones also earned Academic All-District honors during the season.
Louie Jordan, Dyson Koehler, Arnaud Revaz, Marko Sarenac, Handje Tamba, Alex Tew, Blaise Threatt, Vilijami Vartiainen, and Steven Verplancken also earned All-Big Sky honors.
