Wildcats announce 2024-25 men's basketball schedule

Weber State will host 16 games at the Dee Events Center this season.
Basketball season is just around the corner, and the Weber State men's team has finalized its 2024-25 schedule.
After an exhibition game, the Wildcats will play 14 non-conference games, 18 Big Sky regular season games, and the Big Sky Tournament.
Weber State hosts Adams State for an exhibition game on Monday, October 28 at the Dee Events Center.
The regular season will begin on Monday, November 4 with a home game against Northwest Indian College. After that, the Wildcats will play their next three games on the road at Oregon State (Nov. 8), Nevada (Nov. 13), and Hawaii (Nov. 17).
The 'Cats will host UC Irvine on November 22 and Justice College on November 25.
Weber State will play two games in the Arizona Tip-Off on November 29-30 in Tempe, Arizona. The Wildcats will take on Bowling Green on November 29 and play Pepperdine or New Mexico State on November 30.
December will begin with the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. Weber State will host North Dakota State on December 4 and play at former Big Sky member North Dakota on December 7 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Weber State will play at in-state rival Utah Tech on December 13 in St. George, then host Lincoln on December 16. The 'Cats will host in-state rival Utah Valley on December 21, then close out the non-conference season at Oregon on December 29.
The 18-game Big Sky schedule will begin on January 2 at Northern Colorado. Weber State will play the first three conference games on the road, including at Northern Arizona on January 4 and Idaho State on January 11.
WSU hosts Montana and Montana State on January 16 and 18, then plays at Portland State and Sacramento State.
Weber State will have a stretch of four straight homes when they host Idaho (Jan. 30), Eastern Washington (Feb. 1), Northern Arizona (Feb. 3), and Idaho State (Feb. 8).
WSU will play four of the last seven games on the road, but conclude the regular season at home on Monday, March 3 against Northern Colorado.
The Big Sky Tournament will be March 8-12 in Boise, Idaho.
Weber State is coming off a 20-win season last year, led by Big Sky MVP Dillon Jones who was drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft.
The Wildcats have three starters returning in Dyson Koehler, Alex Tew, and Blaise Threatt, and have three other players returning from last season. Weber State added seven new players, including three Division I transfers.
Head coach Eric Duft returns for his third season as head coach and his 19th season overall with the Wildcats.
Season tickets for Wildcat basketball will go on sale soon.
