Weber State will take on Bowling Green, then Pepperdine or New Mexico State at the tournament November 29-30 in Tempe, Arizona.

Weber State men's basketball will participate in the 2024 Arizona Tip-Off Desert Division this November in Tempe.

The Wildcats will be one of four schools in the Desert Division of the second-annual early season event, which is hosted in partnership with Intersport and the Arizona Sports & Entertainment Commission.

The tournament will be held November 29-30 at Mullett Arena in Tempe and will include Weber State, Bowling Green, Pepperdine, and New Mexico State.

The Wildcats will play two of the three teams with one game on Friday and one on Saturday.

WSU will open the tournament against Bowling Green at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 29. The 'Cats will then play either Pepperdine or New Mexico State on Saturday afternoon.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Weber State and Bowling Green. The Wildcats are 5-2 all-time against Pepperdine and last played a series in 2016 and 2017. WSU is 4-2 against New Mexico State, but the two teams haven't played in 40 years.

Weber State is coming off a 20-win season last year, including Big Sky MVP Dillon Jones being drafted into the NBA with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

WSU returns three starters from last year's team in seniors Dyson Koehler, Alex Tew, and Blaise Threatt. The 'Cats also have three other returning players from last year and added seven new players, including three Division I transfers.

Head coach Eric Duft returns for his third season as head coach and his 19th season overall with the Wildcats.

As previously announced, Weber State will host North Dakota State and play at North Dakota in the annual Big Sky-Summit League Challenge in December. The 18-game Big Sky Conference schedule will begin on January 2, with the Big Sky Tournament scheduled for March 8-12 in Boise, Idaho.

The remaining non-conference schedule will be announced soon.
