Bayer Named Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah – Weber State's Braylyn Bayer has been named the Big Sky Conference Women's Golfer of the Week as the league office released its weekly honors on Wednesday.
Bayer claimed individual medalist honors at the Sun Mountain Intercollegiate as the Wildcats won the team title in the event held at the Ranch Club in Missoula, Mont.
Bayer, who was playing as an individual in the tournament, shot rounds of 73, 72 and 69 for a 2-under par total of 214. Bayer recorded 15 birdies over the 54-hole event, including six in her final round 69 as she moved from a tie for fourth place into the lead over the last 18 holes.
The award is the first career weekly honor for Bayer.
