FARMINGTON, Utah (Sept. 24, 2026) – Finishing as the individual runner-up at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate has earned Weber State freshman Vienna Scheffer Women's Golfer of the Week honors from the Big Sky Conference.
The British Columbia native shot 2-over at Riverside Country Club in Bozeman, Montana to outpace a number of other Big Sky golfers and lead the Wildcats to a second place finish as a team. In total, five Big Sky teams were in the field.
She opened her tournament with a 4-over par 76 but closed with back-to-back rounds of 1-under par 71. She carded seven birdies for the tournament, including three in each of her rounds of 71.
