Weber State Basketball to host Junction City Jam Nov. 19-22

Weber State will host the tournament from November 19-22, taking on Campbell and UT Arlington. The first preseason tournament Weber State has hosted since 1991.

OGDEN - Tournament basketball is coming to the Dee Events Center. 

Weber State men's basketball will host the Junction City Jam from November 19-22 at the Dee Events Center. It's the first preseason tournament Weber State has hosted in Ogden since 1991. 

The Junction City Jam is presented by Goldenwest Credit Union, Utah Eye Centers, and Specialists in Orthodontics.

The three team tournament will include Weber State, Campbell University out of North Carolina, and the University of Texas-Arlington. 

Weber State will play Campbell on Wednesday, November 19, at 8 p.m. at the Dee Events Center. 

Campbell will play UT Arlington on Friday, November 21, at 1 p.m, and Weber State will host UT Arlington on Saturday, November 22, at 7 p.m. 

All three games will be televised on ESPN+ and the ESPN app. 

A special tournament ticket package is available now for all three games, starting at just $20. 

The Junction City Jam is a reference to Ogden's railroad history. Ogden was nicknamed Junction City in the late 1800s, and the city was a railroad hub and transfer point for more than 100 trains each day. Ogden became the junction for railroad travel in the Intermountain West for several decades.
