‘Cats sweep Vandals on the road

MOSCOW, Idaho - Weber State defeats Idaho in a 3-0 sweep on the road.
Weber State secured the opening set 25-18 against the Idaho Vandals. In a back-and-forth battle between the two squads, the Wildcats used a late 5-0 run to secure the 1-0 advantage in the match.
The Wildcats momentum carried into the second set as Weber State continued to apply pressure offensively, taking the frame 25-20 to go up 2-0 in the match. Through the first two sets, the Wildcats totaled 24 kills on a .192 hitting percentage, while holding Idaho to .080 with 18 attack errors.
Idaho used four straight kills and a service ace to take the 11-9 lead in the third set however, Weber State stayed close behind. The Wildcats regained the lead after an Addison Eastwood service ace and continued to stay ahead of the Vandals until the end, securing a 25-18 victory.
