Wildcats fall to No. 3 Bobcats in Bozeman

The third-ranked Bobcats won their eighth straight game to improve to 8-2 on the season, while Weber State fell to 3-7.Â
The Bobcats scored touchdowns on eight of their first 10 possessions. MSU led 14-0 after the first quarter and led 28-0 midway through the second quarter.Â
The Wildcats got on the board with a four-yard touchdown run by freshman Spencer Ferguson that made it 28-7 late in the second quarter.Â
MSU continued to roll in the second half, scoring four-straight touchdowns to extend the lead to 59–7 early in the fourth quarter.Â
The 'Cats scored on a five-yard touchdown pass from Dijon Jennings to Mason York.Â
Weber State totaled 285 yards of offense, including 178 on the ground. Ferguson led the Wildcats with 88 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, while Colter May added 59 yards on six attempts.Â
Freshman Kingston Tisdell started his first career game and was 5 of 11 passing for 22 yards before leaving the game in the second quarter. Jennings completed 12 of 18 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown, with Marvin Session catching five passes for 65 yards.
Mayson Hitchens paced the Weber State defense with 10 tackles, and Logan Mackey added a sack and a forced fumble.
The Wildcats play their final road game next Saturday at Idaho State. Kickoff is at 4 p.m. in Pocatello.Â
The final game of the season will be against Northern Arizona on November 22 at 1 p.m. at Stewart Stadium.
