'Cats fall at Idaho State

POCATELLO - Idaho State knocked off Weber State 31-3 Saturday afternoon at the ICCU Dome.Â
The Bengals totaled 531 yards of total offense, including 373 yards passing. The Wildcats totaled 227 yards with 192 passing and 35 rushing.Â
Idaho State scored on its first possession, driving 75 yards and took a 7-0 lead just 2:09 into the game.Â
ISU added another 80-yard touchdown drive and took a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter.Â
The Bengals added another 75-yard touchdown drive and took a 21-0 lead with 2:11 left in the second quarter.Â
ISU added a field goal and another 67-yard touchdown drive in the third quarter to take a 31-0 lead.Â
Sloan Calder knocked down a 25-yard field goal with 10:19 to play in the fourth quarter for WSU's only points.Â
Freshman quarterback Kingston Tisdell hurt his shoulder during warmups and did not play. Dijon Jennings was 24 of 33 passing for 192 yards and also rushed for 22 yards.Â
Robert Young had four receptions for 39 yards and Marvin Session had four catches for 32 yards.Â
Mayson Hitchens led the Wildcat defense with 11 tackles.Â
The Wildcats and interim head coach Brent Myers will close out the 2025 season at home next Saturday, hosting Northern Arizona. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. at Stewart Stadium.
