Weber State hosts Northern Colorado Monday night in the final regular season game.

MOSCOW, Idaho - Weber State dropped a heartbreaker 81-79 in overtime to the Idaho Vandals Saturday afternoon at the ICCU Arena.

The Wildcats have one Big Sky Conference game remaining, when WSU hosts Northern Colorado on Monday night at the Dee Events Center.

Blaise Threatt had another sensational game for the Wildcats on Saturday as he finished with 32 points, a career-high nine assists, and six rebounds and played all 45 minutes. He was 10 of 20 from the field and 12 of 13 from the free throw line. It's the third time Threatt has reached 32 or more points in the last eight games.

Idaho made 15 3-pointers and held off the Wildcats in overtime. The Vandals made 12 3-pointers in the second half and overtime.

The Vandals led 29-27 at halftime but the Wildcats took the lead midway through the second half. WSU led 50-45 with 8:58 to play when Idaho went on a 15-2 run over the next three minutes and led 60952 with 5:42 to play, their biggest lead of the game.

Weber State continued to fight and went on a 7-0 run to cut the lead to one point with 4:18 remaining. The 'Cats tied the game at 68-68 with 1:00 to play after a Trevor Hennig 3-pointer. Idaho answered with another three and led 71-68 with 37 seconds left. Weber State cut it to one point with 29 seconds left, then Idaho made one free throw after an inbound technical. Threatt drew a foul and made two free throws with 19 seconds left and pushed the game to overtime.

The Vandals scored on a four-point play just 25 seconds into the overtime. Weber State twice came back to tie the game, before a Vandal 3-pointer but Idaho up 81-78 with 1:23 to play. Threatt was fouled again with five seconds left. He made the first free throw, and intentionally missed the second one, but Idaho rebounded the ball and time expired in overtime.

Weber State shot 42 percent from the field and made five 3-pointers. Idaho shot 41 percent from the field but was 15 of 38 from 3-point range. The 15 3-pointers made are tied for the most against the Wildcats this season.

WSU won the rebounding margin 42-41 and both teams were 14 of 18 from the free throw line.

Hennig played 43 minutes and scored 17 points. He was 7 of 14 from the field and knocked down two 3-pointers, to go along with four rebounds.

Alex Tew had 11 points with seven rebounds and two blocks off the bench.
