Threatt is one of 15 players in all of Division I basketball selected to one of the three Academic All-America teams by College Sports Communicators.

Weber State senior Blaise Threatt earned one of the nation's top academic honors as he was named to the 2023-24 Academic All-America team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Threatt is one of 15 players in all of Division I basketball selected to one of the three Academic All-America teams by College Sports Communicators. He is one of eight players named to the Second Team. Each school's athletic communications representative nominates the All-America teams candidates. The team is then voted on by CSC members across the country. Threatt previously earned Academic All-District honors.

He is the first Weber State athlete of any sport to be named to a CSC Academic All-America team since 2014.

He is also the first WSU men's basketball player to be named to earn Academic All-America honors in 40 years and just the seventh Wildcat men's basketball player ever.

Threatt carries a 4.00 G.P.A. in Professional Sales in his two years since transferring to WSU. He will graduate with his degree from Weber State University later this month.

As a senior with the Wildcats in 2024-25, he had one of the top seasons of any player in the country. He earned First Team All-Big Sky Conference honors and led the Wildcats in points, rebounds, assists, and steals, one of only nine players in the country to lead a team in all four categories. He is just the second player in Weber State history to lead a team in all four categories in a season.

He also finished the season as the only player in the nation to average at least 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists per game.

He finished the year second in the Big Sky and 18th in the country in scoring at 20.0 points per game. He also finished first in the league in steals, second in minutes played, third in assist to turnover ratio, fourth in assists, fifth in field goal percentage, seventh in rebounding, and 10th in free throw percentage.

In his five-year career, which included three seasons at Colorado Mesa and two seasons at Weber State, Threatt played in 145 games and scored 2,181 points. He scored 2,181 career points and finished his career with the 20th most points of any active player in any division of the NCAA. He scored 986 points in 64 career games in two seasons at Weber State. He finished his career fourth in career field goal percentage and 10th in steals average.

Threatt was also named the Weber State Male Athlete of the Year.
