Matchups announced for 2025 Big Sky-Summit League Basketball Challenge

The matchups are set for the third annual Big Sky-Summit League Basketball Challenge. This year's schedule was made official in a joint announcement by the Big Sky Conference and the Summit League.

Games will take place in 2025 on Wednesday, December 3, and Saturday, December 6.

The Weber State men's basketball team will host Oral Roberts on December 3 at the Dee Events Center, then play at St. Thomas on Saturday, December 6.

WSU played at Oral Roberts in January 2024 in the inaugural Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. The Wildcats and Golden Eagles have met seven times in the past, with Weber State holding a 5-2 all-time lead. Oral Roberts last played in Ogden in 2013 as part of the CIT postseason tournament.

On December 6, Weber State will travel to St. Paul, Minnesota, to take on the Tommies of St. Thomas University. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

The Wildcat women's team will take on the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State on December 3 in Brookings, South Dakota. The 'Cats will host the Bison of North Dakota State on December 7 at the Dee Events Center. It will be the first meeting ever for Weber State against each team.

For the third season in a row, the two leagues will be playing for a combined trophy, taking both men's and women's results into consideration equally from 36 total games.

The Summit League has emerged victorious in the first two editions of this challenge.

Big Sky Conference home games will be available to stream on ESPN+, while Summit League home games will be available on the Summit League Network (SummitLeagueNetwork.TV).

Full non-conference and Big Sky schedules for Wildcat basketball will be announced later.
