OGDEN – Wasting no time to make her mark on the season, junior Rose Moore helped the Wildcats to a 3-0 start at the Wildcat Invitational and was awarded Offensive Big Sky Player of the Week honors.

An offensive weapon, Moore finished the weekend with 38 kills across 10 sets for an average of 3.8 kills per set, while hitting .337 percent. She added six service aces, eight blocks and 26 digs throughout the weekend as well.

Moore's performances this weekend helped the Wildcats to a sweep over Nevada, a hard-fought four-set win against UC Irvine and another sweep against Southern Utah. During her performance against the Anteaters, Moore recorded a career-high single-game 20 kills.

This marks the first Big Sky weekly honor of the season for Moore. She was also awarded MVP of the Wildcat Invitational.

Weber State travels to the Utah Tech Tournament September 4-6 to face opponents Utah Tech, Charleston Southern and UC Riverside.
