GREELEY, Colo. - Weber State completed a Big Sky road sweep with a 76-71 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday night at the Bank of Colorado Arena.

Northern Colorado came into Saturday's game ranked 15th in the nation in 3-pointers made per game at 10.9 and was 26th in the country in 3-point percentage.

And in Saturday's game, the Wildcats held the Bears to just 1 of 14 shooting from 3-point range to secure the road win.

The Wildcats got off to a great start and led by 11 points midway through the first half. Northern Colorado rallied and closed the first half on an 8-2 run and held a 37-34 lead at halftime.

The Bears extended their lead to seven points with 14:28 to play in the second half, before a 12-6 Weber State run gave the 'Cats the lead with 10:28 to play.

"What a great win," said WSU head coach Eric Duft. "This is a tough trip, but there was a point in the second half where we looked a little fatigued, but we just found it and had a great team win. Our guys were really locked in, and stepped up and made the plays we needed."

Edwin Suarez Jr. led the Wildcats with 18 points and eight rebounds. Suarez was 6 of 8 from the field in the second half and had 13 second half points.

Tijan Saine Jr. added 17 points and was 10 of 11 from the free throw line. Senior Nigel Burris added 11 points off the bench. Viljami Vartiainen had nine points, and Malek Gomma had eight points with seven rebounds.
