Wildcats Set for Big Sky Conference Championships

OGDEN – Weber State will wrap up the regular season this week as they head to Litchfield Park, Ariz. for the Big Sky Conference Women's Golf Championships, held at Wigwam Golf Club over the next three days.
Play begins Monday morning with the Wildcats teeing off in the first groups of the day beginning at 7:30 am MDT. The teams will play 18 holes each day, concluding with the final round on Wednesday.
The Blue Course at Wigwam is a par-71 layout that plays at a yardage of 5,981 yards.
Competing for the Wildcats on Monday will be Sofia Fuenmayor, Cala Korman, Emily Song, Braylyn Bayer and Adley Nelson. The Wildcats enter the event with their top player, Jade Gruher, battling an injury and not in the starting lineup. Gruher, who earned All-Big Sky Second Team honors is on the championship roster and available as a substitute as needed and as her health allows.
Fuenmayor and Korman joined Gruher in earning All-Big Sky Conference honors on Sunday as the league announced its yearly awards, with the pair earning Honorable Mention honors.
The Wildcats won three titles over the course of the 2025-26 season, with wins coming at the Utah Fall Intercollegiate, the Sun Mountain Intercollegiate, and the Lady Thunderbird Invitational.

The Weber State women's golf program is on a run of four-consecutive top-3 finishes in the conference tournament. The Wildcats finished third each year from 2022-2024, and placed runner-up last season in 2025. Weber State last won the Big Sky tournament back in 2001.
