OGDEN - The Weber State volleyball program has announced the addition of Brandon Watson as an assistant coach.
Prior to joining Weber State, Watson served as a graduate assistant at the University of West Florida.Â
While at the University of West Florida, Watson coached and developed serving techniques, conducted film review and statistical analysis, assisted with team travel and served as a practice player.Â
Watson was also a student assistant at the University of Arkansas, where he provided statistical analysis for the women's volleyball program and supported game-day operations. He also assisted in practice with serving and passing drills and rotational analysis during matches.Â
Watson also worked for Gold Medal Squared as a lead volleyball camp coach during his college years.Â
"Brandon's work ethic, volleyball eye, and passion for the teaching process made him a wonderful fit for our program", said Head Coach Jeremiah Larsen. "We are looking forward to having him in our gym and helping our team grow and develop."
Watson earned his bachelor's degree in recreation and sport management from the University of Arkansas.
