Kjar, Brown, Tribble will represent Weber State at the Big Sky Kickoff in July

Big Sky Kickoff will be held July 25-27 in Spokane, Washington.
Football is in the air!
The Big Sky Conference has announced the student-athlete attendee list for the 2026 Big Sky Football Kickoff Weekend, presented by Northern Quest Resort & Casino.Â
The Big Sky Football Kickoff Weekend officially begins on Saturday, July 25, and runs through Monday, July 27, in Spokane, Washington.
The head coach and two student-athletes from each of the 13 Big Sky Football schools will be in attendance.Â
Weber State will be represented by new Wildcat head coach Eric Kjar, along with senior transfer quarterback Devin Brown and senior safety Trevian Tribble.Â
Kjar was named the head coach at Weber State in December and takes over the Wildcats after unprecedented success as a high school coach, where he won seven Utah state titles.Â
Brown, a native of Gilbert, Arizona, transferred to Weber State in January after stops at Ohio State and Cal. Brown played one season of high school football at Corner Canyon under coach Kjar. He was highly recruited and spent three seasons at Ohio State and was part of the national championship team in 2024. He spent last season at Cal before transferring to Weber State for his senior season.Â
Tribble is a senior out of Fontana, California. He has been a part of the Wildcat program for the last four seasons and has appeared in 34 games in his Weber State career.Â
On Monday, July 27, the Big Sky Kickoff will feature over four hours of live coverage from the Northern Quest Resort & Casino beginning at 9:00 a.m. PT on ESPN+ and Scripps Sports. The Big Sky's Meghan Robinson and Scripps Sports' Kyle Hansen will co-host coverage for the day, with interviews from all 13 football teams, Commissioner Tom Wistrcill, and special guests throughout the day. Watch times for all interviews on Monday will be released at a later date.Â

The 2026 Big Sky Hall of Fame Gala will also be part of the Kickoff Weekend, with festivities beginning at 6:30 p.m. PT, on Saturday, July 25 from the Northern Quest Resort & Casino. The ceremony will highlight all eight inductees from the 2026 class, with special appearances from multiple honorees. The gala will be held at the Pend Oreille Pavilion building located on the north side of the Northern Quest Resort & Casino property.Â
Tickets for the gala, which have sold out the past three years after reaching full capacity, can be purchased at BigSkyConf.com/HOF. Each ticket is $85, plus fees, which includes admission to the gala, a commemorative poster, and a meal. Purchasers will get to choose from among three options for their meal, those options can be found as well at BigSkyConf.com/HOF.Â
Weber State will have two inductees into the Big Sky Hall of Fame. Amber Henry, a three-time All-American and an 11-time Big Sky champion, will be inducted, along with former Weber State men's basketball standout Willie Sojourner.Â
