Three Wildcat teams named Big Sky Team Academic Champions

Weber State men’s basketball, men’s cross country, and men’s track and field all had the highest team GPA in the conference in their sport.
Three Weber State teams have been named the 2025-26 Big Sky Conference Team Academic Champions, for the highest team GPA in their sport during the last year.Â
Weber State men's basketball (3.66), men's cross country (3.57), and men's track and field (3.53) all posted the highest team GPA for the combined 2025-26 academic calendar. All three had the highest GPA of any team in their sport in the Big Sky.Â
It's the second straight year that the Wildcat men's basketball team has led the conference in team GPA.Â
This is the fourth year the Big Sky has announced Team Academic Champions.Â
