Wildcats Open Big Sky Play on the Road

Weber State volleyball opens Big Sky Conference play this week as the Wildcats hit the road to face Eastern Washington and Idaho.
The Wildcats will take on the Eastern Washington Eagles before traveling to take on the Idaho Vandals for their second conference matchup of the week.
Weber State enters conference play with a 7-3 overall record after earning a 3-1 victory over Utah Valley Saturday afternoon in Orem. The Wildcats dropped the opening set 25-17 before responding with three straight set victories to close out the match.
Weber State finished the match hitting .317 as a team with 56 kills and 13 total blocks. The Wildcats also recorded five service aces while holding Utah Valley to a .190 hitting percentage.
The Wildcats have won two of their last three matches heading into conference play, including a five-set comeback victory over Utah State and a 3-1 road win over Utah Valley. Weber State also faced BYU during its final stretch of nonconference play.
After finishing the nonconference portion of the season with a 7-3 record, Weber State will look to carry its momentum into Big Sky play as the Wildcats begin conference competition on the road.
The Wildcats will look to start conference play strong against Eastern Washington and Idaho.
