Justus finished his three-year career at Weber State in 2018. He appeared in 38 career games with the Wildcats and was a pet of back-to-back Big Sky Championship teams and advanced to the FCS Playoffs each season. He finished his career with 52 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He was also a three-time Big Sky Academic All-Conference award winner and was named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society as a senior.
2018 (Senior)
Was a part of the Weber State team that won a second-straight Big Sky title and a trip to the FCS Quarterfinals...Saw action in all 13 games during the season and finished the year with 11 total tackles with five solo and six assisted tackles...Had a season-high four tackles in a win over nationally-ranked South Dakota...Also had 1.5 tackles for loss during the season and one pass breakup...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors as an MBA student as was also named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.
2017 (Junior)
Played in all 14 games as part of Weber State’s historic season that included a school-record 11 wins, a Big Sky title, two wins in the FCS Playoffs and a fifth-place national ranking...Totaled 33 tackles on the year with 12 solo tackles and 21 assisted tackles...Had a career-high nine tackles in Weber State’s win over Montana on Oct. 28...Also had three tackles for loss in games against Cal, UC Davis and Southern Utah...Recorded two sacks on the year for a loss of 15 yards...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Computer Science.
2016 (Sophomore)
Played in 11 games for the Wildcats during the season, helping Weber State to the FCS Playoffs...Recorded eight tackles on the year with a season-high three tackles in WSU’s win over nationally-ranked Cal Poly...Also had one tackle for loss in a win over Montana State...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Computer Science.
Snow College
Played one season at Snow College, appearing in 10 games during the 2015 season...Had 40 tackles with 27 of them unassisted...Also had one interception...Was named the Defensive MVP for the Salt City Bowl.
Box Elder High School
Graduated from Box Elder High School in 2011...Earned first team All-State and All-Region honors and was named the region defensive back MVP...Was the team Defensive MVP for the Bees and had 70 tackles with four interceptions and one sack.

Was born July 27, 1993, in Logan...Parents are Jeffery and Debra Brown...Is married to Alexie Brown...His brother Jordan played two years as a safety for the Wildcats in 2009 and 2010...Served an LDS Church mission to Tijuana, Mexico after high school...Graduated with a degree in Computer Science at Weber State in April 2018 and pursued a Master’s of Business Administration.
