As a Sophomore at Fort Scott Community College: Cassie played in 41 games, and batted .281 with five doubles... Scored 13 runs and drove in 21 runs... Earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors.
As a Freshman at Seminole State College: Cassie played in 80 games, batting .222 with 15 runs scored and 10 RBI.
During her Prep Career: Cassie is a 2007 graduate of Seminole High School, where she was a four-time letterwinner in Softball... Also lettered four times in Track, Basketball and Dance, while earning two letters in Cross Country...Was an All-Conference selection in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and was a Second Team All-State selection in 2006... Earned All-State honors in Cross Country in 2006 and in Track in 2006 and 2007... Was a member of the 3200 M relay team that won State Championships in both 2006 and 2007 and set an Oklahoma state record with a time of 9:34.24... Played her club softball with the Oklahoma Shockers, which she helped lead to a 1999 Fastpitch Softball World Series Championship... Later played club ball with the Oklahoma Stealth and the Oklahoma Prospects.
Personal: Cassie is the daughter of Russell and Debra Beene... Birthday is April 24th... Has one younger sister, Callie (15)... Enters Weber State with a 3.62 GPA and intends to major in Human Performance Management.
