Regina completed her career as Wildcat in the 2015-16 seaosn. In four years at Weber State, she played in 104 career games and started 97. She finsihed the 2015 season leading the country in steals averageing 3.68 per game and had a total of 107 on the year. She joined the 1,000 point club scoring 1,074 career points as a Wildcat. Okoye became the first athlete in men and women's school history to have over 300 steals in her career. She became the fourth person in Big Sky Conference history to break 300 steals and sits at No. 3 in conference history with her 313 steals.

As a Senior in 2015-16

  • Played in 18 games and started in 17 games for an average of  26.3 minutes per game
  • Was the teams leading scorer, averaging 16.2 points per game
  • Had a career high of 28 points against Portland State
  • Scored in double figures 14 different times and had 20 or more points six different times
  • Recorded a career high of 13 rebounds against Bethesda and averaged 6.3 boards per game
  • Had the team high of four double-doubles
  • Had 46 steals on the season giving her 313 total career steals, highest in school history and third highest in the Big Sky Conference. 
  • Shot 49 percent from the field and 61 percent from the free throw line. 

As a Junior in 2014-15

  • Played and started in all 29 games and averaged 27.2 minutes per game
  • Averaged 9.7 points per game (second on the team) and 5.7 rebounds (second on the team)
  • Had a season high of 21 points against Air Force
  • Had a career high of 10 steals against San Diego 
  • Led the nation and the Big Sky Conf. in steals averaging 3.68 per game and had 107 on the season. 
  • Broke single game steals, single season steals, and career steal records at Weber State
  • Shot 42 percent from the field and 64 percent from the free throw line. 
  • Scored in double figures 16 times and recorded four double doubles

As a Sophomore in 2013-14

  • Played in 28 of the Wildcats' 29 games, making 23 starts, and averaging 22.5 minutes.
  • Averaged 9.8 points (third on the team) and 4.0 rebounds.
  • Led the wildcats in field goal percentage for the second straight season, shooting 45.5 percent from the floor.

As a Freshman in 2012-13

  • Played in all 29 games for the Wildcats, starting 28 times, and averaging 26.5 minutes. 
  • Averaged 7.9 points per game (third on the team) and 4.4 rebounds (third on the team).
  • Shot 43.1 percent from the field, leading Weber State.

Prep Career

  • Graduated from Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2012.
  • Track letter-winner in all four years of high school and basketball letter-winner from 2009-2012.
  • Named New Mexico Gatorade Player of the Year in 2012.
  • 2012 first-team all state.
  • Named Defensive Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
  • First-team all district in 2012.
  • Third-team all district in 2011.

Personal

  • Daughter of Denise and Godwin Okoye.
  • Has four siblings: Michael, Nia, Martin, and Goldie.
  • Plans to major in Microbiology at Weber State.
  • Plans on going to dental school when finished at Weber State.
