Auston finished his four-year career at Weber State in 2019. He twice earned All-Big Sky honors and helped lead the Wildcats to three-straight Big Sky titles and four trips to the FCS Playoffs. He appeared in 54 career games at Weber State and totaled 149 tackles. He also had 18 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. He also recorded seven pass breakups with two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

Served as a team captain and played in all 15 games for the Wildcats during Weber State’s historic season, helping WSU win a third-straight Big Sky title and advance to the FCS Semifinals…Earned second-team All-Big Sky Conference honors, his second-straight all-conference honors...Had 59 total tackles on the season with 27 solo tackles and 32 assisted tackles...Had a season-high 11 tackles in a win over Cal Poly...Also had seven tackles against Northern Iowa...Totaled seven tackles for loss on the season and had one sack...Had four pass breakups.
2018 (Junior)
Played in all 13 games at linebacker during the season, helping Weber State to back-to-back Big Sky tiles and a trip to the FCS Quarterfinals...Earned third team All-Big Sky honors...Recorded 41 tackles on the year with 19 solo tackles and 22 assisted tackles...Had a season-high 10 tackles in WSU’s win at Southern Utah...Also had five tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks...Also had two pass breakups and had nine kickoff returns for 144 yards.
2017 (Sophomore)
Played in all 14 games for the Wildcats during Weber State’s historic season that included a school-record 11 wins, a Big Sky title, two wins in the FCS Playoffs and a fifth-place national ranking...Recorded 39 total tackles on the year with 20 solo tackles and 19 assisted tackles...Had a season-high five tackles in the FCS Playoff game at No. 1 James Madison...Also had five tackles for loss with 1.5 coming at JMU, for a loss of 12 yards, and had two sacks on the season...Also recorded five quarterback hurries, two fumble recoveries, one blocked kick and one forced fumble during the year...Had one kickoff return for 32 yards...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Business Administration.
