Hayden returns as a senior tight end for the Wildcats out of Layton, Utah. 

He has played in 44 games over the last four seasons. He enters the 2023 season with 40 career receptions for 382 yards and nine touchdowns.  

2022 (Junior) 
Played in all 13 games, helping Weber State to a 10-win season and a trip to the FCS Playoffs…Had 17 receptions on the season for 191 yards and four touchdowns…Had at least one reception in 10 games…Had three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown in the win at Portland State…Also had three catches for 28 yards and a touchdown in the playoff game at Montana State…Also had touchdowns in wins over Montana and North Dakota.


2021 (Sophomore)
Earned third-team All-Big Sky honors after playing in all 11 games during the season…Finished the year with 19 receptions for 150 yards and four touchdowns…Had at least one reception in 10 of the 11 games…Had three catches for 26 yards and a touchdown against James Madison and also had 26 yards against Montana State…Had three catches for 13 yards and two touchdowns in WSU’s shutout win at Southern Utah. 

Spring 2021
Played in all six games for the Wildcats in helping Weber State to a fourth-straight Big Sky title…Had one reception for 13 yards in WSU’s win over UC Davis.


2019 (R-Freshman)

Played in all 15 games for the Wildcats during Weber State’s historic season, helping WSU win a third-straight Big Sky title and advance to the FCS Semifinals...Had three receptions for 28 yards on the season, catching passes against Idaho, NAU and Sacramento State, all WSU victories...Averaged 9.3 yards per catch...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Psychology. 


2018 
Sat out the season as a red shirt. 


Layton High School
Earned first-team All-Area honors and earned honorable mention all-state honors, playing for coach Jim Bachelor at Layton High School...As a senior, posted 52 tackles with 16 tackles for loss and eight sacks...Also had four forced fumbles...Also ran track at Layton.


Personal
Was born April 20, 1999...Parents are Rody and Andy Meacham...Has three siblings...Is majoring in Exercise and Sport at Weber State...Can solve the Rubik’s cube in under a minute...Originally signed at Weber State in February 2017 before serving an LDS Church mission to Spokane, Washington...Is majoring in Professional Sales at Weber State.
