Jake played in 24 games in two seasons at Weber State, and started in 23 games. He helped lead Weber State to two Big Sky titles and two trips to the FCS Playoffs. After two seasons, he ended his WSU career ranked 11th in WSU career passing with 4,428 yards. He recorded 33 career touchdowns, which ranks seventh in Weber State history.  

2019 (Junior)
Started in 12 games for the Wildcats during the season and served as a team captain in helping Weber State to a third-straight Big Sky title and a trip to the FCS Semifinals...Threw for 2,223 yards and 15 touchdowns during the season, averaging 185.2 yards per game...Threw for a season-high 289 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season finale win over Idaho State...Also threw for 275 yards in a win at UC Davis and 234 yards in a playoff win over Kennesaw State...Threw touchdowns in nine of his 12 games played...Also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown. 

2018 (Sophomore)
Joined the Wildcats as a junior college transfer and helped lead Weber State to a second-straight Big Sky title and a trip to the FCS Quarterfinals...Played in 12 games and started in 11 games at quarterback for the Wildcats...Finished fifth in the Big Sky in passing at 183.8 yards per game...Passed for 2,205 yards and 18 touchdowns during the season...Was seventh in the conference in pass efficiency and eighth in total offense at 174.8 yards per game...Threw for a season-high 318 yards and three touchdowns in Weber State’s win at North Dakota and was named the Big Sky Player of the Week for his performance...Threw a touchdown in nine of 11 games and had two or more touchdowns in five games...Had four passing touchdowns at 199 yards and rushed for another touchdown in the home playoff win over Southeast Missouri State...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Communication. 

Ventura College
Played the 2017 season at Ventura College and earned first-team All-California honors as a freshman...Threw for 2,385 yards and 28 touchdowns at Ventura and completed 68 percent of his passes...Averaged 216.8 yards passing per game. 

Boise State 
Originally signed at Boise State in 2016 and sat out the 2016 season as a red shirt with the Broncos. 

Camarillo High School
Was a three-star recruit out of Camarillo High School...Helped lead his team to a 15-1 record a northern division title and an appearance in the state championship bowl...Was named the division Offensive Player of the Year...Threw for 3,988 yards and 51 career touchdowns and had 321 rushing yards...Completed 72.2 percent of his passes.
