Kawika finished his four-year career at Weber State in 2019. He was part of three-straight Big Sky Championship teams and advanced to the FCS Playoffs all four seasons. In his four years with the Wildcats, he appeared in 49 career games. He totaled 74 total tackles with 15 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. 

2019 (Senior)
Played in 14 games during Weber State’s historic season, helping WSU win a third-straight Big Sky title and advance to the FCS Semifinals…Had 21 total tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks...Had six tackles in the win over Cal Poly and five in a win at Idaho...Also had two quarterback hurries and one forced fumble on the season.

2018 (Junior)
Saw action in all 13 games for the Wildcats, helping Weber State to a second-straight Big Sky title and a trip to the FCS Quarterfinals...Was third on the team in sacks with four on the season for a loss of 23 yards...Finished with 28 tackles on the season with eight solo and 20 assisted tackles...Had season-highs of four tackles against Cal Poly and Northern Colorado...Also had 6.5 tackles for loss...Had a blocked kick and a quarterback hurry...Also had one kickoff return for 24 yards.

2017 (Sophomore)
Played in 13 games for the Wildcats, helping Weber State to a record-setting season that included a Big Sky title and two FCS Playoff wins...Recorded 19 tackles on the season with nine solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles...Had two or more tackles in five games...Also had four tackles for loss with 1.5 coming in a win at Montana State...Had a sack for a loss of 11 yards in WSU’s win at Cal Poly on Oct. 21...Also had one quarterback hurry during the year...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Health Promotion. 

2016 (Freshman)
Played in nine games as a true freshman for the Wildcats...Recorded six tackles on the year with a season-high three tackles in a win over Montana State and two tackles at Chattanooga in the FCS Playoffs...Also had one tackle for loss in the win over Portland State...Had a fumble recovery against Montana State...Had two pass breakups and one kickoff return...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Health Promotion.

Davis High School
Graduated from Davis High School in 2014...As a senior in 2013, had 51 tackles and 4.5 sacks and earned Second Team All-State honors from the Deseret News...Totaled 135 tackles and 15 sacks in his career with the Darts.
