Xequille finished his four-year career at Weber State in 2017 by earning All-American honors. In his four seasons with the Wildcats he played in 42 career games. He finished his career with 306 punt return yards, the 11th most in Weber State career history. He also had 96 career tackles with 65 unassisted tackles and had 13 pass breakups and five career interceptions.
2017 (Senior)
Played in all 14 games and started in 12 games for the Wildcats during WSU’s historic 2017 season in which Weber State won a school-record 11 games, won the Big Sky title and finished the season fifth in the nation...Earned Second Team All-American honors by STATS as a return specialist...Also earned Second Team All-Big Sky honors at cornerback and Third Team all-conference honors as a punt returner...Finished the season second in the nation in punt returns, averaging 15.3 yards per return...Had 20 punt returns for 306 yards, which is the fifth most punt return yards in a season in Weber State history...The 15.3 return average is the best in a season in school history...Had an 84-yard punt return for a touchdown in Weber State’s win over UC Davis, which is tied for the fourth longest punt return in school history...Also had 33 tackles with 25 unassisted tackles and led the Wildcats and was seventh in the Big Sky in interceptions with four during the season...Had an interception which he returned for 64 yards in WSU’s win over Montana...Also ended the season with four pass breakups.
2016 (Junior)
Started all 12 games at cornerback for the Wildcats, helping Weber State to the FCS Playoffs...Recorded 32 tackles on the season with 25 solo tackles and seven assisted tackles...Had a season-high six tackles against Northern Arizona...Also had one tackle for loss on the year...Had one interception, in a win over Montana State, which he returned for six yards...Also had seven pass breakups, which was second on the Wildcat team and ranked 18th in the Big Sky.
2015 (Sophomore)
Played in eight games at cornerback for the Wildcats...Had 15 total tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss...Had a season-high five tackles at Northern Arizona...Also had one sack for a loss of 14 yards against Southern Utah and had one pass breakup.
Weber State track and field
Was part of the Weber State men’s track and field teams during the 2016 season...Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 100 meters with a personal best time of 10.74.
2014 (Freshman)
Saw action in eight games as a true freshman with the Wildcats after signing at Weber State in February 2014...Recorded 16 total tackles on the year with seven solo tackles...Had five tackles against Portland State and four against Idaho State.
Woods Cross High School
Played for coach Justin Spencer at Woods Cross High School...Earned First Team 4A All-State honors as a senior...Recorded 27 tackles with six interceptions...Had five interceptions returned for touchdowns...Also played wide receiver and had 34 catches for 739 yards and eight touchdowns...Helped lead Woods Cross to best record in school history and a trip to the state semifinals...Also earned All-Region honors and played basketball and track...Team won state title in track and field.
