Nikki Palmer is beginning her second season as an assistant coach with Weber State. Palmer was hired by in July of 2011, joining the Wildcat coaching staff after serving as an assistant at Utah State in Logan, Utah.
Prior to her stint at Utah State, Palmer spent two years as an assistant at San Francisco State, and prior to that was an assistant coach at UC San Diego.
Prior to UC San Diego, she was the head softball coach for the Fury Travel Softball Program for U-16 and U-14 in Temecula, Calif.
While attending UC San Diego, Palmer was a member of the 2007 team that participated in the CCAA Conference Championships and NCAA Regionals.
Palmer graduated from UC San Diego in 2007 with a bachelor of arts in sociology with a minor in communications. She completed her Master of Arts in teaching from National University in 2009.
Palmer is a native of Temecula, Calif., and is a 2003 graduate of Temecula Valley High School.
