Henry Reed

 Henry Reed earned All-America honors as a member of the Weber State football program, then went on to a career in the National Football League.
 Reed came to Weber State from Detroit, Michigan, and was a standout performer for the Wildcats in 1969 and 1970. Reed, a 6-foot-4, 215-pounder, earned First Team Kodak All-American honors in 1970, as well as All-Big Sky Conference First Team honors.
 Reed played in the 1971 East-West Shrine Game in 1971. He was later drafted in the 11th round of the NFL draft by the New York Giants. Watkins played for the Giants from 1971 to 1974.
