Callister also excelled in the classroom and earned multiple national academic awards.
She was a three-time Academic All-American, the only athlete in Weber State history to earn Academic All-America honors three times.
At the 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships, she won the prestigious NCAA Elite 89 Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest G.P.A. at the NCAA Championship.
