Seth Pilkington was a five-time All-American, a five-time Big Sky champion, and a multiple school record holder. He was a standout distance runner for the Weber State men's track and field and cross country teams from 2005-08.

A native of Roy, Utah, he first attended the University of Oregon and then the University of Illinois before running for three years at Weber State for his father, head coach Paul Pilkington.

He earned two All-America honors in cross country, two in outdoor track and field, and one in indoor track and field. He is the only Wildcat in history to earn All-America honors in all three sports.

He finished his career holding four school records and still holds two records. He still ranks first in the indoor 3,000 meters and the outdoor 10,000 meters. He is second all-time in the indoor and outdoor 5,000 meters.

In cross country, he had three top-10 finishes at the Big Sky Championships and twice competed in the NCAA Championships. He finished second individually in 2006 and helped lead the Wildcats to the team title that year. He also earned all-region honors. In 2005 he was 10th at the conference meet and in 2007 he finished third.

He earned All-America honors in 2006 and 2007 in cross country, one of two Wildcats to ever earn cross country All-America honors twice. He finished 25th in the nation in 2006 and 27th in the country in 2007, at the time the two highest individual finishes in school history.

In outdoor track and field, Pilkington also twice earned All-America honors, with two top-five individual finishes. He was fourth in the country in the 10,000 meters in 2006 and finished fifth in the 10K in 2008.

He captured three Big Sky outdoor titles, winning the 10,000 meters in 2006 and 2008, and the 5,000 meters in 2006.

In indoor track and field, he earned All-America honors in 2008 by finishing 11th in the 5,000 meters. He won two conference titles, winning the 3,000 meters and the 5,000 meters in 2008.

Pilkington also excelled in the classroom. He was twice named a USTFCCCA Academic All-American in cross country, one of two Wildcats to ever receive the honor twice.
