Wildcats Down Seasiders to Wrap Up Non-Conference Schedule

LAIE, Hawaii -- The Weber State women's soccer team wrapped up the 2007
non-conference schedule on Monday night with a 1-0 victory over
BYU-Hawaii, improving to 4-5-1 on the season.
Senior midfielder Shelli Gough posted her first goal of the season in the 37th minute for the game winner. Sophomore midfielder Kelsie Ehlers earned the assist on the play.
The Wildcats shut-out the Seasiders for their third clean sheet of the season, as Deysha Victorine recorded four saves to improve to 2-3-1.
Weber State will now have 11 days off to prepare for the Big Sky season. The 'Cats will open league play on Oct. 12 as they face Sacramento State in Sacramento, Calif. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. MST.
