As a Sophomore in 2007: Kelsie emerged as the Wildcats’ top scoring threat and led the team in scoring until a knee injury ended her season on Oct. 14 against Portland State... Scored a career-high with eight points on two goals and four assists, despite playing in six fewer matches than in her freshman year... Opened the season with the team’s lone goal in a 5-1 loss to Southern California... Scored her second-career game winning goal on Sep. 9 against UTEP in a 2-1 win... Was named the Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week after recording three assists over two matches from Sep. 12-14, including two in a 3-0 win over Boise State... Her final point of the year came as an assist on Shelli Gough’s game winning goal against BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 1... Attempted only 13 shots on the season, but put 11 on-goal for a team-leading SOG percentage of .846. The mark was the highest at WSU among players with 10-or-more shot attempts since Debbie VudhiVadhana put 12 of 13 on-goal (.923) in 2000... Her goal against the Trojans in the season-opener was the 950th point scored in the history of WSU soccer.
As a Freshman in 2006: Kelsie was one of the premier freshmen in the Big Sky Conference... Broke into the starting lineup on Sep. 23 against UTEP and remained a starter for the final 11 matches... Spent most of her playing time as a defender after injuries siphoned depth from the Wildcats’ back line... Scored seven points on two goals and three assists... Attempted 22 shots and put 11 on-goal for a .500 SOG percentage... Recorded her first career point with an assist to Molli Neilson in a 2-0 win over Northern Iowa on Sep. 1... Her first career goal came in the following match and was the game-winner as the Wildcats defeated Wisconsin-Green Bay on Sep. 3... Her second goal came on a flip throw-in against Montana. The throw was touched by Montana goalkeeper Grace Harris before going into the net for Weber State’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to the Grizzlies... Also recorded assists against Ohio in a 4-0 win and against Portland State in a 2-1 win... Tied for fifth on the team in scoring and third on the team in assists... Her three assists ranks in a tie for fourth place on the all-time WSU freshman season list, while her seven points ties for 10th.
During her Prep career: Kelsie is a 2006 graduate of Northridge High School in Layton, Utah, where she was a four-time letterwinner in soccer... She also earned two All-State honors... Led the Knights to the Region 1 championship in 2004... Was named the Team MVP three-straight years (2003-2005)...
