Weber State used a variety of zone and man-to-man defenses which resulted in the Roadrunners shooting just 38 percent from the field overall and 8-31 from the three-point line.
“It wasn't pretty but that's the way I like it on the road,” said WSU head coach Randy Rahe, “Winning on the road is hard anywhere you go. I thought the team held their composure down the stretch and played together. We had way too many turnovers offensively but I really thought our effort on the defensive end was the key.”
The Wildcats now have a seven day lay off over the Thanksgiving holiday to prepare for a Wednesday, November 28 home game against in-state rival Utah. Tip-off vs. the Utes in the Dee Events Center is set for7:05 p.m. (MST).
