SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -Daviin Davis scored 17 of his 22 points in the second half and Arturas Valeika had 20 rebounds in Weber State's 89-69 victory over Sacramento State on Monday night.

Steve Panos added 17 points and five rebounds and Valeika also had 10 points and six blocked shots in 31 minutes for the Wildcats (15-13, 10-6 Big Sky).

Jason Davis had 17 points and three steals and Clark Woods added 16 points and three steals for the Hornets (4-24, 2-14 Big Sky), who ended the season with an eight-game losing streak and a 0-18 record on the road.

While the Hornets missed 16 of 17 shots from the floor to open up the second half, the Wildcats went on a 25-3 run, completed by two free throws from Steve Panos to give Weber State a 60-40 lead. The Wildcats got their biggest margin of the game on a 3-point basket by Juan Pablo Silveira that made the score 75-51 with 5:15 remaining.

Jason Davis' layup put the Hornets up by 10 points with 7:17 left to play in the first half, but the Wildcats came back to trail 37-35 at halftime.
