OGDEN – The Weber State men's basketball team will play its final exhibition game of the preseason this Wednesday night when the Wildcats host Colorado Mesa at the Dee Events Center.

The game will tip off at 6 p.m and admission is free for all fans.

There will be no TV or radio broadcast of the exhibition game but live stats are available here.

The game will be the third and final exhibition contest for Weber State before the start of the 2026-27 regular season.

WSU beat Colorado Christian 90-76 in the first exhibition game and knocked off Westminster 96-74 last Saturday.

In the two games, the 'Cats are shooting 46 percent from the field and have knocked down 21 3-pointers. Aaron Powell is averaging 14 points per game in the two games with Mason Abittan at 13.5. Five Wildcats scored in double figures in Saturday's win over Westminster.

The Wildcats are preparing for their first season under new head coach Kaleb Canales. Weber State enters the season with 12 new players and just two returning players from last year's team.

Following Wednesday's exhibition, Weber State will open the regular season on Monday, Nov. 2, at Oregon State in Corvallis, Oregon.

The Wildcats will then return home to host Utah Valley in their regular-season home opener on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Dee Events Center.

WSU has 15 regular season home games and also plays every NCAA school in the state of Utah this season.
