Saturday’s game will tipoff at 4 p.m. at the Dee Events Center and admission is free.

With one exhibition game in the books, the Weber State men's basketball team continues exhibition play this Saturday, Oct. 24, when the Wildcats host Westminster at the Dee Events Center.

The game will tip off at 4 p.m., and admission is free.

There will be no streaming or radio broadcast of the game but live stats will be available at WeberStateSports.com.

Saturday's game is the second of three exhibition contests for Weber State under first-year head coach Kaleb Canales.

The Wildcats opened exhibition play last Saturday with a 90-76 win over Colorado Christian.

Weber State had four players score in double figures, led by Aaron Powell with 20 points in just 13 minutes off the bench. Powell was 7 of 9 from the field, including 5 of 7 from 3-point range.

Alvin Jackson III, Mason Abittan, and Dylan Warlick each added 10 points. Warlick also had a team-high six assists, while ArDarius Grayson finished with nine points, five assists, and five steals.

Westminster is a Division II school in Salt Lake City. The Griffins compete in the RMAC and are under the direction of first-year head coach Casey Stanley. Westminster's roster includes Brady Smith, who spent the 2025-26 season at Weber State.

Weber State enters the 2026-27 season with 12 new players and just two returning players under Canales, who is in his first season leading the Wildcats. Canales brings more than 20 years of coaching experience, including 18 seasons in the NBA.

Following Saturday's game, Weber State will conclude exhibition play on Wednesday, Oct. 28, against Colorado Mesa at the Dee Events Center.

The Wildcats will open the regular season on Monday, Nov. 2, at Oregon State, before hosting Utah Valley in the home opener on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Season tickets for the new era of Wildcat basketball are on sale now.
