Grizzlies Roll Past Weber State

MISSOULA, Mont. -- Ali Thorderson hit another five three-point shots on Saturday, giving her 11 over the past two games, but once again her efforts were not enough as Weber State fell to Montana 82-54 at Dahlberg Arena.
Thorderson again led the Wildcats in scoring, as she had a game-high 19 points on the night, but her shooting percentage was down from the previous game. The junior from Highlands Ranch, Colo. hit 6 of 20 shots overall, 5 of 17 from behind the arc.
The Wildcats shot only 28.1 percent for the game, and only 21.1 percent in the second half. Meanwhile the Grizzlies shot 49.2 percent for the game.
Mandy Morales led Montana with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Sonya Rogers added 14 points. All 12 players that saw game action scored for the Grizzlies.
Sarah Conner added nine points for Weber State, while Tonya Schnibbe had seven. Karlee Weight chipped in with six points and six rebounds, and Joey O'Neill pulled down a game-high eight rebounds.
The Wildcats dropped to 5-12 overall on the season and 0-5 in Big Sky play. WSU's losing streak extended to seven games. Montana improved to 16-3 overall and a Big Sky-best 5-0 in conference play.
