SACRAMENTO - Four Wildcats scored in double figures as Weber State won its 10th straight game with a 75-60 win over Sacramento State Thursday night.  With the victory the Wildcats moved to 8-0 in Big Sky play for the third time in school history.

Weber State never trailed in the game and jumped out to a quick 14-3 lead four minutes into the first half.  WSU led 42-28 at halftime.  The Hornets were never closer than eight in the second half.

Weber State shot 53 percent from the field and held SAC to 35 percent shooting.  WSU also outrebounded the Hornets 35-26.

"Sacramento State made a nice push and was very aggressive but we made some good shots and made some stops when we needed to," said WSU head coach Randy Rahe.  "We moved the ball really well and shared the ball well and had a lot of players step up and play well."

Damian Lillard, the nation's leading scorer, finished the night with 21 points with 14 points coming in the second half.  Lillard finished 7-17 from the field and was 4-4 from the free throw line.  In the process he passed Jermaine Boyette and moved into third place in WSU career scoring now with 1,622 career points.  He needs just three more points to pass Jimmy Degraffenried for second all-time.  Lillard also added six rebounds and four assists.  Lillard is now averaging 24.8 points per game.

"Sacramento State did a good job defensively but the whole team stepped up and made some plays," Lillard said.

Darin Mahoney had his first career double-double, finishing with a season-high 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.  Scott Bamforth added 17 points and Kyle Tresnak posted 13 for the Wildcats.

With the victory the 'Cats improve to 16-3 overall.  The Hornets lost for the eighth straight game and fell to 5-14 overall and 0-8 in Big Sky play.  The 'Cats have now beaten the Hornets 10 straight times.

It marks just the third time in WSU history the 'Cats have started the Big Sky season 8-0 and the first since the 2002-03 season.  It's the 11th time in school history the 'Cats have won 10 straight games.

WSU will stay out on the road and head to Pocatello to take on Idaho State Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
