Montana State Takes 5-2 Win over WSU

OGDEN, Utah -- Weber State's tough season continued on Thursday afternoon, as the Wildcats remained winless on the season after dropping a 5-2 decision to Montana State at Edman Courts.
Ashley Tanner and Thais Kurer earned points for the Wildcats after picking up wins in singles play. Tanner dropped Wena Tsan 6-0, 6-4 in the No. 2 match for her point. Kurer, meanwhile, moved up a spot in the lineup to No. 5, and continued her run of good play with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Andrea de La Torre. Kurer has now won three-straight matches in singles.
The Wildcats continued to struggle in doubles play, dropping all three matches.
Weber State is now 0-17 on the year (0-5 in Big Sky play), while Montana State moved to 4-8 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
