Another Wildcat has been named to the 2012 College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) watch list.  Junior wide receiver Shaydon Kehano has been named to the wide receivers watch list for the upcoming season.  Kehano is one of 39 receivers  in FCS football across the nation and one of six players from the Big Sky Conference on the watch list.

Kehano had a breakout season as a sophomore for the Wildcats in leading the team in receiving.  He started all 11 games for Weber State and earned Big Sky All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.  He led the team with 43 catches for 883 yards and eight touchdowns and was seventh in the Big Sky in receiving yards per game at 80.3.  He posted a career-high 157 receiving yards in helping Weber State to a 39-12 Homecoming win over Idaho State Oct. 15.  He had three catches in that game with two of them going for touchdowns, including an 83-yard touchdown catch from Mike Hoke, the eighth longest passing play in Weber State history.  He also had four catches for 100 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-21 win at Northern Colorado on Sept. 24.  All eight of Kehano's touchdowns came in Weber State victories.

After just two seasons with the Wildcats the Kaneohe, Hawaii native has appeared in 17 games and has 45 receptions for 933 yards and nine touchdowns.

Kehano joins senior quarterback Mike Hoke and senior running back C.J. Tuckett on the CFPA preseason watch lists.
