MISSOULA, Mont. – Sophomore outside hitter Rebecca Fuchs had 10 kills to lead the Weber State University women's volleyball team, but it wasn't enough for the Wildcats to claim a breakthrough road win.

Fuchs also added four blocks and seven digs for Weber State, which fell 25-19, 25-11, 25-22 to Montana on Saturday night at West Auxiliary Gym.

Junior outside hitter Audrey Biggs added seven kills and nine digs for the Wildcats, while freshman middle blocker Katie Harvey had five blocks and five kills.

Weber State dropped to 3-13 in Big Sky play, 7-23 overall with the loss, while Montana improved to 9-7 in league, 12-13 overall.

The opening set featured five ties and four lead changes, but the Grizzlies pulled away late to capture the set and take a 1-0 lead. The second set was all Montana as it broke open a 7-6 lead and turned it into a 14-point win.

The third set featured seven ties and three lead changes, but again another Montana push at the end propelled the Grizzlies to capture the set and the match.

Weber State will return to action on Wednesday night when it travels to Pocatello, Idaho, to face Idaho State. First serve against the Bengals is set for 7 p.m.
