Morales invited to rookie minicamp with Panthers

Former Weber State linebacker Anthony Morales has been invited to the rookie minicamp for the Carolina Panthers. The two-day rookie minicamp begins Friday and will include those players drafted, undrafted free agents and 34 tryout players.
Morales, a native of Edmond, Okla., finished his four-year career with the Wildcats in 2013. He served as a defensive captain for the last three years earned Big Sky All-Conference honors three straight years. As a senior in 2013 he was named Team Defensive MVP and finished third in the Big Sky in tackles at 10 per game.
He played in 40 career games at Weber State and recorded 342 career tackles, the fifth most in school history. He also ranks third in WSU history in career assisted tackles and 10th in unassisted tackles.
