Men's Tennis (1984-87)

  Jonas Ehrlin proved to be the most durable and talented men's tennis player at Weber State University, and has since returned to direct the Wildcat fortunes as head coach.

  Ehrlin came to WSU from Sweden. He was a two-time Big Sky Conference singles champion, winning the doubles crown once as well. More importantly, Ehrlin led the Wildcats to four consecutive Big Sky team titles under Coach Keith Cox, winning in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987. Ehrlin was named Big Sky MVP in 1986 and 1987 to wrap up his career, posting a 27-1 record at the conference finals.

  Ehrlin owns the most career wins in men's tennis with a 125-61 overall record. He was named Weber State's Male Athlete of the year in 1987.

  Ehrlin made three appearances in the NCAA Tennis Tournament

  Ehrlin became a teaching professional, and worked as director of tennis and teaching pro at Ventura Canyon Resort and Country Club in Tucson, Ariz., for several years.

  In 2004, Ehrlin returned to Weber State to take over interim head coaching duties. He was named head coach of the women's program in 2006.
