Big Sky Commissioner to speak to WSU fans

Wildcat tennis squads earn Big Sky Honors

OGDEN, Utah – Five Wildcats earned All-Big Sky Conference Team honors as the league released its All-Conference teams and individual award winners Friday afternoon.

On the men's side, Stefan Cooper and Todd Fought eached earned first team honors and Sanjay Goswami was named to the All-Big Sky Second team. 

On the women's side, Agata Bachanek was named to the All-Big Sky Second team and Krisit Elmer was an honorable mention. 

The men's team recorded a 10-1 record during the Big Sky Conference regular season earning the regular season title and the Big Sky Tournament title.

Cooper posted a team high this year of 27 combined wins and went undefeated in conference play with eight consecutive wins going into the Big Sky tournament.This was Cooper'sfirst ever Big Sky honor.

Fought posted 24 wins for the Wildcats and went 13-6 in singles play. This is Fought's second time earning first team honors.

Goswami posted 26 wins on the season and went 13-6 in singles play and 13-6 doubles play. He and Cooper went undefeated in Big Sky play.

Together the trio combined for 77 total wins on the 2015-16 season. 

Bachanek posted 20 wins for the Wildcats with an 11-10 No. 1 singles spot. Kristi Elmer had 14 wins on the season all in the No.2 singles spot. Together the pair had  24 wins for Weber State.
