Wildcats fall in Pocatello, 5-2

Pocatello, ID — The Weber State Wildcats fell to the Idaho State Bengals 5-2 in Pocatello, Idaho.
"Not easy to play with nothing on the line," Head Coach Brad Ferreira said, "Ken and Theo fought hard and played very well."
Weber State was swept in doubles play, falling 6-2 on Courts #2 and #3. Ken Dinh and Dawid Scholtz went unfinished on Court #1.
In singles, Ken Dinh and Theo Mottier both clinched their matches in the third set. Dinh took his 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 on Court #1, and Mottier defeated his opponent 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-3 on Court #2.
The Wildcats will close out their season as they play host to the Utah State Aggies on Sunday, April 19th, at the Ogden Athletic Club.
The Aggies enter Sunday winners of their last 8 matches and boasting a 15-5 mark on the season. The two squads matched up earlier this season with the Aggies taking the match in a 7-0 result.
