Wildcats fall on Senior Day, 6-1

Ogden, UT — The Weber State Wildcats fell to the Idaho Vandals 6-1 on a day where they honored seniors William Zulch and Connor Kruger.

Weber State was swept in doubles play, falling 6-1 in the #3 position and 7-5 in the #2 position. Ken Dinh and Dawid Scholtz went unfinished on Court #1.

In singles, Theo Mottier got the Wildcats on the board with a 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win in straight sets on Court #2.

Toit Malan and Clement Lecoq pushed their matches to three sets before falling short.

The Wildcats will head up to Pocatello, Idaho to take on the Idaho State Bengals on Saturday, April 18th. The Bengals enter Saturday with a 9-9 mark on the season and a 3-3 record in Big Sky Conference play.
